Inspired by ocean “Asymmetrical” surfboard designs for riding point break style waves, welcome the Asym’s.  Wakesurfing is essentially the same as riding a point break wave. The rider is constantly on a comparable ocean “left” or “right”. In the case of wakesurfing behind a boat, we call it “Port”, or “Starboard”. The concept is simple. A wake surfboard designed specifically for riding one side of the boat to gain performance a traditional symmetrical shape cant.

The extended rounded nose allows the rider to gain more range in carves and turns from the top to bottom of the wave.  Carves back towards the wave are faster than on a traditional shape. Schwacks and top turns are more controlled with the rounded tail and the extra rail length in the nose.

The Asym Starboard is designed for riding Starboard side of the boat. Just as its evil twin, it also does not care who you are. Regular or goofy, both stances will benefit from the design aspects that make it a starboard side
